Using these models, a sequence of aligners—transparent plastic trays—are manufactured. These trays are then worn by the patient, changing to the next tray every one to two weeks. The treatment duration varies from individual to individual, but may take anywhere from six months two years. It helps to remember that the success of your aligners depends on how regular you are with wearing them, so please make sure you wear them as instructed!
